I, like everything else in this world, am only here for a moment.
I was born into this ‘reality’, I learned what teachers have taught me, and I experienced what life had to offer.
It doesn’t stop, and I’m not quite done.
But at some point in my life—maybe within the next hour, minute, or second, I will cease to exist.
I do not strive to leave behind a legacy, nor do I yearn to have my name written in biased textbooks.
Whether or not I was able to accomplish what the world asked of me, I at least have the assurance that I lived a good life.
I built connections, I fell in love, I helped with what I could, and I am no different than anyone else before, during, and after my lifetime.
I carry my own burdens upon my shoulders, I’ve fell to the bottomless pits of temptation, and I’ve made many, many, mistakes.
It’s been a beautiful struggle. I’ve accepted that nothing is permanent, not even tattoos.
Skin will rot, our remains will turn into ashes, and memories as we all should know, fades quicker than photographs left in the sun.
I entered, I conquered, and I shall leave when life considers it to be time. Whenever, wherever, however. And it’s completely fine.

This will be my last post for this blog as I won't have the time to blog about my life. I want to concentrate more in my other blog, Picture Tales. If you happen to be free, well , you can always pay a visit to that blog ;)

Before I leave this blog, here's my final update about my life since may.

I've had friends become jerks,I had people talk about me in very hurtful ways, I had problems with school, I've had problems with everyone around me, I had been given a label.

Finally, I found my answer. It has something to do about the guy who I used to date and after knowing it , I really really hate him from the bottom of my heart. WOW! I feel brand new suddenly :p

Well, I was been caught in soo many dramas and not to mention meeting an accident, lol. I'm perfectly fine now and the scar on my face is healing although it is taking a long time. There's no way I'm going story any of you about what I've been through because I'm just too lazy :)

Learning a good lesson was the positive side of it and I'm blessed to go through all this now.I feel that I'm growing to be strong woman! Oh yeah! xD

Looking at other girls getting higher votes than me, I thought that I wouldn't even stand a chance to win the consolation prize.I'm surprise that they choose me for the prize and I'm actually proud of my self! Maybe I didn't get to win the RM 500 that I was hopping for but it's ok with me. This is like my first time winning a competition and I'm starting to feel that I will have better chances in the future if I were to join in any other competition.

It was around 2am when I just got back home from Kota Kemuning. He called me immediately to wish me happy valentines day :) It was his first time celebrating this special day and I know how much it means to him. I feel bad for being unable to spend time with him on that wonderful day and I was unprepared - no presents or anything else :/

I had been pretty busy because of school, tuition classes , homeworks and family probs. Yeah, I'm a sucker :/

I didn't expected much on that day and I thought that we will end up wishing and reminding ourselves about how much we love each other.

While we were talking over the phone, he told me to check the pink box which was on top of my room cupboard. I did it and I found a cute lil brown box inside the pink box. It was a present from him! I was like wtf?! lol. I opened it and I got pretty crystal ring! haha :D I was literally shocked and speechless. I wanted to yell and scream but I was afraid that I will awake everyone in the house, lol.

The next thing he told me to do was to check the snake and ladder box which was also on top of the cupboard. I grabbed it and opened it like a little kid feeling excited for another present :D I found another brown box but sligthly bigger than previous one. I opened it and I got a crystal bracelet! haha.

It wasn't over yet. One more present left and he told me to find it in the first drawer of the cupboard. It was packed my with clothes and it took me a while to find for it. This time, it was a pink box. I took it out and opened it. I got a silver bangle with blue butterflies on it! :D

I was amazed with what he had done. He planned this surprise with my sis earlier for me. I underestimated him and I thought nothing great will happen after all. Oh well, he proved me wrong :) I truly appreciate the effort he took to do all this and for all the trouble he had to go through.This is the best surprise I ever had in my whole entire life! I love you sayang and you are the best I ever had <3

It is compulsory for all the f6 students to stay back until 3.10 pm to finish up our homework or colloquium. Like we will do that , pfft! Worse come to worst we will be wasting our precious little time wandering around the school aimlessly while having a snack. It is impossible to study due to the sound pollution there. Oh, you know , "Maxwell".

A few of us are suppose to go for maths tuition after school. My friend and I decided to go early since there is nothing to do in school. All we wanted to do was to go for tuition and finish up our work so that we can go back early. The rest stayed back since they were having all those crap 'society meetings' and we escaped.

The both of us went to the first gate but we saw our f6 teacher 'guarding' the gate so that none of us can escape. Plan A cancelled and we moved on to plan B . We went to the other two gates but it was locked.Plan B cancelled. Our last plan was plan C which was jumping over the wall.

Another 3 of my friends accompanied the both of us to the back of the school. With the help of them, we jumped over the wall successfully! A few of the students saw us doing that and they were laughing. Well, I wasn't bothered at all :)

Fuck! The whole school knows about this and they can't seem to stop talking about it. I wouldn't be surprise if the teacher knows about it.

Today, 12/01/10
Nive and I was been called out during assembly to see our discipline teacher . We were pretty cool about it and we know we did a 'cool' mistake, lol!

" So, you both were the ones who jumped over the wall on monday?"

He burst out laughing when he asked that, haha. The both of us laughed too while admitting our mistake and we couldn't stop it. It was so funny and I almost cried, haha. He even mentioned that the both of us has created history there( The first girls to jump over the wall in Maxwell ). It is definitely an honor to receive that status ;)He didn't want to give us a warning letter and a heavier punishment so he decided that we should do a demonstration of how we 'jumped over the wall' in front of all the f6 teachers, lol! That was really crazy and we did it! It was more like a comedy show and some of the teachers were taking pictures of us! Damn! I can never forget this day, haha.

DIY Single Chain Earring

There was one day left for New Year celebration and I didn't had the time to go out and buy accessories. None of the earrings I have suits my black dress. I wanted something funky and long so I decided to do my very own chain earring :)

It doesn't take up a lot of time to do this. Perhaps half an hour?

So, here are the simple steps.

(1) You need a ear-stud and something which you can use as a hook to combine the chains and the ear stud.

(2) Collect a few different kind of chains and cut it according to the length that you like.

(3) - (4) You can use two different kind of chains. If you have difficulties to find any type of chains, you can try using your old accessories or necklaces.

(5) Connect the chain to the hook and then to the ear-stud.

(6) TADA! The single chain earring can now be used :D

It was my mom's birthday on the 27th of Dec and my sister suggested that we should go to somewhere that we had never been before - Look Out Point , Ampang.

There are a few restaurants there and my family choose Look Out Point Western Food.
The food is good and the price is definitely reasonable. Birthdays can be celebrated there like how we did for my mom. It was a surprise for her and she loves it :)

I was shocked that a ten year old girl was confused about the names of the months. Back when I was in tadika, I remembered that I was taught about it and the number of days in each month. The only thing I could do was write all the names of the months on an A4 paper and stick it on the wall. I made sure that every morning she should memorise it and soon I'll give her a test.

That's the best I could do :)

It's been a month I was teaching this girl and to be honest , I enjoyed it! Sharing my knowledge and teaching someone makes me feel great and appreciated .I like the feeling of guiding her and correcting her mistakes. Lately, she had been showing some improvements in the subjects that I'm teaching - mathematics and science :) Thank God! :)

TEDxYouth@KL event was held on the 20th Nov 2010 at Plug n Play, The Gardens South Tower.

The speakers were :

1. Niki Cheong

A journalist, actor and social media advocate. He is also known as The Bangsar Boy, a reference to his fortnightly column in The Star.

Outside of his day job as Deputy Editor for R.AGE, The Star’s youth portal where he pens a column on social media called What The Tweet, Niki is a renowned blogger and Twitterer. He also occasionally dabbles in theatre, most recently seen in The Swimming Instructor and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

In 2009, he was named one of August Man magazine’s Men of the Year for his contributions to social media. He was also Martell VSOP’s Rising Media Personality in the same year. Earlier this year, Niki was one of seven people featured on Project Alpha, a reality TV show about Malaysian bloggers.

2. Navin Muruga

Founder of ecobuddy, a start-up social venture that’s turning recyclable waste into money for charity.

Lately he’s been busy driving around the Klang Valley in his pickup truck collecting trash and promoting ecobuddy. However, when he’s not picking up trash he’s at the office, running his family business. At 17, Navin decided to take on the responsibility of turning around his loss-making family run consultancy firm. He was successful. His firm now advices corporations across South East Asia the likes of Intel, AIG, Allianz,
Goodyear, Sime Darby and Sony (for a lot of money).

Navin has been known for being unconventional. When most of his friends were flying off to study abroad, Navin chose to make sales calls from home. He spent more time at corporate meetings than he did working on his college assignments. Similarly, at 24, Navin decided to look past pure profits to pursue ecobuddy, a social business model he believes can simultaneously create profits, preserve the environment and contribute to society.

He’s got a steep hill to climb but he’s convinced that when he’s done, recycling will become a way of life that’ll contribute millions of ringgit to the disadvantaged in our community.

3. Sabrie Salleh

Former President of Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar (MPP) & Managing Director of UNICOM Event Marketing.

Life in student politics, activism and leadership paint the journeys that Sabrie Salleh has done through during his university days. Elected as the Student Council President of one of Malaysia’s premiere university, Sabrie has led a youth-run ‘Government’ in its process of delivering value to the 20,000 student population of his university, involved with amending policies and spearheading national scale youth events.

Sabrie Salleh with Student Council Presidents in other universities successfully persuaded the government to amend the University and University Colleges Act in 2009 which gave students’ greater liberty in politics and creativity.

Sabrie Salleh was in the venture capital industry where he participated and successfully closed an investment deal worth RM 26 million. He previously co-founded 3 companies and is currently leading a firm revolved upon the beliefs of corporate social entrepreneurship. He is expected to complete his Masters of Entrepreneurship at the end of 2010.

4. John-Son Oei

Director of GEL (Growing Emerging Leaders), a leadership development centre which ultimately gave birth to its community outreach arm, E.P.I.C. (Extraordinary People Impacting Community) where he is head coordinator.

A graduate of Mass Communication, John-Son has made a commitment to social activism as a way of life and living. Not willing to conform to mediocrity he strives to go beyond the ordinary and join the ranks of extraordinary people to play his part and help make the world a better place. This passion led him to be featured by several talk shows such as Astro Awani and The Fairly Current show, and is even a recipient of the KLue Blue Chilli Award 2010.

Ever the dreamer, John-Son has also become the implementer of dreams for others and himself.

Besides his full time job of working with GEL/E.P.I.C., he teaches High school children creative writing and is a Research Assistant at UCSI University in the Faculty of Economics and Policy Science. His greatest achievement is staying alive after a year in social activism and being able to follow his dreams of creating a community that is passionate about caring.

5. Johan Farid Khairuddin @ JFK

Johan was one the region’s youngest and most experienced strategic youth business & media development experts. With a Masters Degree and fellowship honour in Business Administration (MBA F.Inst BA) from the Trinity College & University (UK), his last professional position in the corporate world was with Asia’s leading satellite broadcasting company (The Astro All Asia Networks plc) where he headed Astro’s regional youth projects in India, Indonesia and Malaysia. Prior his resignation in 2009, his last role within the group was focused on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and to enhance Astro’s business & brand positioning amongst the youth through the company’s various cross-media platforms, projects & business units..

The highlights of his tenure which spanned for more than 10 years within the Astro group include co-founding & building Malaysia’s first ever cross-media integrated youth community platform in 2001 – Xfresh. The youth community built, owned and operated a radio station, tv channel, high traffic online portal, trucks, busses and even a helicopter. Other more recent highlights include of his career include speaking global on Youth & ICTs at the UN Global Youth Forum in Switzerland (Sept 07), the UN Meets Web 2.0 Conference in New York (March 08), the European Alternative Channel TV Forum in Barcelona (April 08), the World Congress for ICT (May 08) in Kuala Lumpur, the 1st World Radio Broadcasters Meeting (June 08) in Istabul, Turkey, the UN Global Youth Forum in Armenia (Oct 08), the 2nd Annual Middle East Corporate Social Responsibility Forum in Dubai (Nov 08) and the Annual General Meeting for the Committee for ASEAN Youth Cooperation in Manila, Philippines (Dec 08).

In 2008, he was appointed by the United Nations as their youth ambassador & e-leader for the Asia Pacific region which also placed him on the UN Global Alliance for ICT Development Strategic Council (UN GAID). Being a veteran Radio DJ & TV Personality with more than 12 years experience in the entertainment and broadcasting industries; his hands-on and award winning work included roles in music as a singer, songwriter & producer still continue to increase his international following of fans which expand his personal network of global influential contacts.

Having committed his life to airplanes, Johan earned his Diploma in Aviation from the Australian Wings Academy in April 2010.

He is still “on air” part-time with Malaysia’s #1 English radio station and still does voice-over work, including programme/show narration and advertisements for both radio & television.

6. Alia Nadhirah

A second year medical student at Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences (CUCMS), Malaysia.

In 2009, Alia stumbled upon an advertisement about The Smile Train, an international charity that provides cleft lip and cleft palate surgery to children in need, as well as providing cleft-related training to doctors. She was so impressed by the Smile Train’s motto “Changing the world one smile at a time” that it prompted her to raise funds for the organization. When she surfed online, she happened to read an article about Dr Hirji Adenwalla, a surgeon with The Smile Train. She was inspired by his method of raising funds for the Smile Train through giving talks that she decided to emulate his noble work. Her father took one step further and suggested that the funds raised and a banner – for which donors would sign on – be personally delivered to Dr Adenwalla’s clinic, the Charles Pinto Centre for Cleft Lip and Palate in Thrissur, India.

Thus, her project was launched. Encouraged by both parents, she gave speeches at several places and those who donated were given the opportunity to sign on the huge banner. Over a period of 8 months, she managed to raise a total of 600USD and 320 RPI from the kind souls and generous hearts of Malaysian donors.

In June 2010, together with her father, Alia flew to Thrissur, India, and delivered the donations and banner to Dr Hirji Adenwalla and his team. The team of doctors gave her a warm welcome and explained to her the cleft lip deformities and the surgical procedures with extreme and admirable patience. She was given the opportunity to sit in the clinic to watch outpatients, go forward rounds, enter the ICU and observe surgeries in the operating theatre. What she observed from her two-day visit was the immensely dedicated and passionate team of doctors and healthcare practitioners in the clinic, fuelling further her determination to become a professional medical practitioner one day.

Alia’s foray into volunteer work began at the age of fourteen, when she began to teach English to underprivileged students at the Titian Kasih Orphanage in Kuala Lumpur. She has also volunteered at N Shiki Brain Camp as a Trainee Facilitator and at Hospital Kuala Lumpur Paediatrics Ward.

7. Aanantha

Having started his own band named Synergy about 10 years ago, his musical journey has taken him all over Malaysia and also to some international locations such as Canada, India and Indonesia, to name a few.

He has collaborated with our very own Malaysian top artistes such as Ziana Zain, Ning Baizura, Anuar Zain, Sheila Majid, Ramlah Ram and many more in mega concerts and also various charity shows.

Another interesting fact about Aanantha is that he is also the first male host for the Astro Vanavil Talent Quest 2001. Aanantha also hosted the Astro Vaanavil Talent Quest 2006 for the second time around. As usual he created a wave and earned the adulation and admiration of his fans, which span across the board irrespective of age and gender.

He, along side his equally famous brother, Ram, run a studio, which is called Synergy Studio 1, where they produce radio advertisements and music albums. Together they have managed to garner 22 awards; one being a coveted gold award for excellence in radio advertising. The studio has also been featured in the Discovery Travel and Living Channel’s The Six Degrees Programme. Besides that Aanantha has played host to famous people like Reshmonu, Asha Gill, Mohd Rafi (Indian Vocalist) and many other deejays and personalities.

Currently Aanantha is hosting the morning breakfast show between 6am to 10am on THR.fm Raaga, the number one Tamil station in the country.

7. Youth Asia

Overall, this event was a blast! The Ambassadors were awesome and the special supporters worked hand in hand to make this event a successful one. It was inspiring and I have definitely learned a lot. Not to forget , I have met a lot of people and new friends ;)

And they are married to this game of relationships, physical appearance, emotions and socialising. A game called circle, there is neither starting nor an ending point. The more you suffer from this game of circle, the more you suffocate. Why? You tend to be more insecure, speed into silly " Yes’s ", you don’t show restrain to yourself, therefore leading yourself into a gigantic blunder. Sometimes, you find these suffocated victims, turning into suicidal temptation. But remember, do not cut off your noise to spite your face.

BOOMED! Overwhelmed with the dilemma and failing to voice out the depression, you choose to isolate

Most of them fail to voice out about their true selves and sharing their feelings and problems with friends thinking that they might be discriminated sooner or later. What happens next is they start to isolate themselves and think about their problems over and over again. With all those heart ache problems, depression starts to develope in them and the only solutions they have is suicide.

Is this fair to all of them?

Think.

Yeay! Finally exams are over but that doesn't mean I'm going to leave my books alone until the next exam which will be next year :/

It's the beginning of the month November and holidays are coming up.. I'm still confused whether I should work or just stay at home. I need to get some cash to fulfill my desire for .. SHOPPING! and spending it on my love ones too <3

So how was October?

I can say that it was pretty cool especially during hallowen. The street party at Changkat was awesome! A lot of them were wearing weirdcoolsexyawesome costumes and my friends and I were the only ones who wore normal outfits for clubing , lol! There we lots of middle eastern people there and the GUYS! OMIGOD! THEY WERE LIKE SO FUCKING HOT! With their sexy abs popping out and those beautiful six packs .. Ahh, it was a sweet moment :p Btw, Gypsy club was fucked up and it was packed with ~~pariah~~ 'estate' dudes .. EL hab was worst! GOSH! If I were to stayed there longer, I guess I might die due to the suffocating atmosphere :/

We headed back home around 4 something and went to the pool side , had a few puffs and beer. Not to forget, we even got into trouble when the guard caught us swimming at that time, lol! Ju and I totally chicken out and ran somewhere to hide.. Eventually, he managed to find us and somehow we got our way out by craping some stuffs , hehe :p

Those moments were great and halloween night was cool even though he wasn't by my side.

I got the news about her around 10 something soon after I woke up. I was shocked when my lil sis told me about it. I swear I couldn't believe that news and I thought that my sis must have mistaken someone else . It's impossible for it to happen now. I ran down immediately and log in to facebook. Many students from SMP posted about it in facebook. At that moment, I couldn't even believe my own eyes. “This can’t be true. This can’t be real.." , I thought to my self. How can my teacher just go off like that?! I remembered the last time I saw her around March and she was perfectly fine at that time. She was always happy and bubbly... strong enough to fight back the stroke she had a few years back which caused her to be half paralyse .. She had never failed to go up and down the stairs and meet us in the SAL/PAK room to have her english lessons there. 'Chatterbox', that was the name that she gave me since I always couldn't keep my mouth shut, lol! Each time during her class, she will always tell us a story about her past .. how she met her husband, how many ex-bfs she had, Datuk Michelle Yeoh- she was a ballet dancer in her school and her life when she was in England to continue her studies. Ahhh, story times was always great :)

Puan Suriati Ghazali, you had taught us for two great years and memories of you will never fade away. I'm so sorry if I had ever hurt you and forgive me for all the crappy essays that I wrote. I love you and I will always miss you. Rest in peace, God bless.

I really wish that I can be with all my class mates and cry with them :(

TEDxYouth@KL will host maximum of 150 guest and access to the conference is by invitation only upon discretion of the organizers.

Speakers
TEDxYouth@KL will feature 9 speakers, locally based youths!

Exhibitions
There will be booths of products or information of certain sponsors in exhibition spaces allocated just around the proximity of the speaker’s hall.

Ok,this is a very weird picture. My class teacher looks constipated, Yi Hao was scolding the photographer , Kah Kiat and Kaarthic was talking to each other , I was laughing with what ever they were saying and lastly, 'the cousins' , Uma and Sasi were acting all shy .. =.=' Oh ya! Diana was the only one who was excited to get this moment captured..

Those who were missing are Jia Huan , Mei How and Shasi.

Called northern lights in the northern hemisphere, auroras are caused by collisions between charged particles from the magnetosphere and air molecules high in the Earth’s atmosphere. If viewed from space, auroras can be seen to glow in X-ray and ultraviolet light as well. Predictable auroras might occur a few days after a powerful magnetic event has been seen on the Sun.

We were learning about gravitation during physics period when out of no where the topic about 'aliens' popped out.

Do Aliens really exist? Or is it our imagination? :O

Abductions here and there, sightings are everywhere and there are tons of alien pictures scattered on the internet. Sadly though, there are some people who publish fake alien pictures just for the sake of publicity.Those real ones are quickly covered up by the government and tagged as fake.

The alien in this picture actually looks real.

Can it be fake? What's your opinion?

Oh, what about crop circles? Who makes it ?

Aliens and UFO's , due to their intricate designs and sometimes symbolic patterns, many believe that crop circles are made by alien spaceships or by aliens who trying to send a message. Cool huh? Another theory, helicopters or airplanes causing downdrafts making the crops bend over or the Earth’s electromagnetic radiation causes the formations etc… All these different theories but nobody can really claim responsibility of the crop circles.
